high-output alternators?

With a brand-new Bosch-rebuilt, Bosch-branded OEM alternator, I did not have
any low voltage or current issues at all. I've run my stereo (6x40W amp)
plus the headlights, A/C, cooling fan, wipers, etc. without low voltage
issues.

I think if that's an issue for you, you'll be needing a new voltage
regulator at the least, if not a new alternator.
