88 80Q won't start or idle when cold unless you crack the throttle

Not sure what kind of vehicle we are talking about.
if it's a1988 80Q then does that mean it's european or is it in the us/canada.
if it's really an 80 is it an 80Q or a 90Q? is it injected or does it have a 2E2 or similar carby thing? depends what side of the atlantic you' re on!
I'm assumung that you are in north america with a CIS-E 5 pot 4000Q, but am not 100% sure.
the euro spec k-jet stuff is supposed to be started with the throttle half open according to the vehicle manual.
you have recieved tips regarding the ISV and AAV, however these 2 devices are never seen together and perform the same function on different versions of the k-jet ke-jet and digifant IIs.
Need a bit more info
