It wont stall. It all depends on the plumbing for that year and model.
My 88 5kq has a 0.070" orifice built into the vacuum system coming from the
crankcase venting. This limits how much crankcase air enters the air intake
system.
Pulling the dipstick or removing the oil cap has no effect on idle.

Do the same test on my 90 100Q and the engine drops dead. Different
plumbing.
