And speaking of old Audi parts... the famous plastic base for the shifter 
boot. Anybody know where to find one with enough tabs left? My boot itself 
is reasonably decent, but I actually lost the plastic ring altogether after 
removing it to attempt a repair.

Involving that link above... how do you say "shifter boot" in German ;-)?
