A6 battery replacement Question: Radio code

Depending on the radio, you can chose to not have the theft code be
active. The factory radio on my '93 VW Corrado is this way. Once the
radio is unlocked you can press a different sequence of buttons to turn
the feature on/off. On the other hand, the radio on my '95 S6 does not
appear to have that feature. Not familiar with the newer radios used by
VW/Audi, but if they still have that option the instructions would be in
the owners manual for the radio, not the vehicle owners manual.
