Au contrare. The t44's do indeed have removable center supports. It only 
takes about 20 minutes to get it off, and makes a T-belt easier then 
changing a headlight bulb. It is held on by a mere 14 bolts, 4 of which are 
10mm (up by the fenders, look like they help hold the fenders on) the rest 
are 13mm plus some philips head screws for the rad and oil cooler ducting. 
Remove bumper via 2 8mm allen bolts first, then bumper shocks account for 6 
of the 14 bolts. Headlights come with core as does the grill. Just unplug 
the wires from the bulbs. Turbo cars require intercooler removal for T-belt 
access, which is trivial with the core already removed (when removing core 
take off the 6mm allen bolt that holds the IC in place and leave IC with 
car).
