Soft VW Passat brakes

FWIW, my Mom's 2001.5 does NOT do that. In fact, it actually has a
respectably
decent pedal feel, at least compared to a Type 44T. Which is, of course, not
saying
much.

Anyway, something IS wrong. Taka did a nice summary of things to check/do.
