A6 - V6 30V normally aspirated: Coolant after run pump?

Taka:

A new battery solved the issue.

I got another year out of the battery last fall with distilled water and 
charging.

Now the only thing I can think of is that the grunt turning the starter 
before the click , click, click................. made the engine turn ever so 
slightly, that the water pump circulated enough coolant to make a trickle visible 
in the overflow coolant resevior......

I thought it was an interesting observation.
