Daytime running lights for Canada import

The wiring is different between the Canadian and US cars. The Canadian cars
use the low beams as DRLs but use a relay to direct the power through a
resistor so the low beam bulbs are running around 60% illumination. When the
headlight switch is activated the relay opens up and the bulbs get full
power through the headlight circuit.

John,

Just looked in the Bentley, seems like slightly different wiring between
U.S. and Canada... May be easier to use parking lights, but hoping someone
who's BTDT can shed some "light" (pun intended)

Will have to explore the diagrams a little closer and see what I can figure
out!

Thanks, Eric

I believe that even the early 1990s vintage Audis came with provisions for
DRLs. My '90 Coupe quattro 20V
has them listed in the fuse/relay box.
