windshield recommendations?

thanks all for the feedback and interesting points, btdt, etc. i made an
appt at a local shop. $200 and they use sekurit, ppg, etc - oem quality
glass. i will definitely warn them that I'm going over the work carefully
and will complain about paint chips. i'll bring a tube of touch up for them
just incase. i have to imagine there are lots of fussy costumers and that
they have tools and process to make this as clean of an install as possible.
but then again, how many customers really look at the work carefully?
especially when it's all taped up...

as for paint marks well, i made the mistake of waxing the car tonight and
man.. it's TRASHED. the bumpers are a mess and the paint itself feels
like... well, acne. it looks ok from 10-15' but all the fallout from living
in the city really takes its toll. stupid me didn't scrub the paint at all,
just wash and wax. it really needs a strip, clay bar, buff, wax, polish..
the works. that is, after i get the bumpers painted and find a good touch up
paint.

speaking of - anyone have a good touch up paint system they have experience
with? i was thinking about something like:
http://drcolorchip.com/detailers-touchup.html

looks like that sort of thing could make a big difference on my a4 [it's
black]. i couldn't really make it worse.. =)

thanks gents.
