Radio wiring question

... no direct BTDT on your model, but it seems most of the stereo hookups 
are pretty similar.

That dimming function seems unusual ... normally htere's a wire to link the 
illumination of the deck with the rest of the lights, but this alsmost 
sounds backwards.  I'd almost think it might be best to tap your "dim" 
control to one of the wires from the headlight switch for the parking 
lights.  I think there's a grey/blue wire for the normal dimming function.

Most of the Audis I'm familiar with do require power for antenna amps.  The 
wire usually also goes to the control line that runs the chime when you have 
the radio on and open the driver's door ...
