is there any performance mods for the C4 2.8 V6 wagons?

Yeah...you are stuck my friend. The car you want does not exist in the
Audi line up (considering price range).

I would check out a BMW wagon or similar. What about a Passat wagon?

The 2.8 was known for oil leaks from the head gaskets. Not a big deal
to replace them. Plus, it can be a bargaining tool when buying one.
Just pull the valley cover and see what it looks like in there.
