is there any performance mods for the C4 2.8 V6 wagons?

To the best of my knowledge,
98 A6 is the same as 95 - 97, 2.8L 12 valve V6 (172hp)
was the only US engine. 1998 sedans were C5 chasis
with the 30 valve 2.8L V6 (200hp?) but wagons were
still C4 with 12 valve V6. I believe someone has a
chip mod that nets a few HP (8-10) for the 12 valve
but nothing gets you much. I have a 1996 A6 sedan with
auto-trans and at first I thought it was a slug and it
has not gotten any faster but I found that for the
driving I do I seldom need any more power than it has.
It down shifts and accelerates pretty well when I need
it. There are of course times I would like some more
"get up -N- go" but do I need it? With traffic and
road conditions in Calif. there is seldom any chance
to use what power it has. Sunday night coming back up
from Long Beach I had a few chances to open it up on
I5 and I can easily reach 100 plus mph but never for
long. Climbing the mountains like on the way to Lake
Tahoe I could use some more power but I don't go there
often and I could take my S4 if I wanted to but the A6
is more comfortable for me (not to mention that the A6
has current registration).
I think PES had a Super Charger kit for the 30 valve
V6  but I don't know anything about it. You have to
step up to an allroad or an S/RS to get factory HP in
a wagon from Audi.
