Is the B3 Radiator Repairable?

Perhaps the paint in the threads created some of the problems folks reported in dealing with Nissens radiators.
   
  I replaced mine with the OEM plastic version.  Figured if the first one lasted 13 years, I'll probably be nearly finished with the car when the replacement breaks.

What are people using besides the Nissens? I didn't have time to be too
selective.
