High Beams turn the lights off - 1990 200

Mine failed in the same way, on dismantling the switch
I saw one of the contacts had overheated and sunk into
the plastic that should support it.
I did repair it by building up the melted plastic with
glue and a bit of bending on the contact.
I also relayed everything to take the load off the
switch (I was running 160/130 bulbs with 100W mains.)
