2.6L stroker post

My Friend Erol is contemplating using a Eurospec 2.6 stroker short block with
a 20V DOHC 7A head. At present he is not interested in turbocharging as is
short on time, although my want to a light turbo setup with this later by
doubling up headgastket or other solution.
So wondering from the collective knowedge of this list if this is a good swap.
We have the block, so might as well put it to use. At present it would be
nice just to net the gain from a displacemtne perspective.
This is the block:

It would seem the 20V version of long block is merely the same block with the
20V head - the same thing we'd be doing. We did an initial fit of head on
block using 10V head( need to get the 20V). I noticed there was no
intereference at all when turning crank, but leaving cam static. We'll do
the modeling clay check as soon as we get the head off my 7A (getting AAN).
Also, not to muddy the waters, but how would this block do with an MC-1 or 2
conversion or using an NF head and doing the turbo conversion.
TIA for replies, esp. BTDT.
Ben

Will this work? I know that the 20v pistons are "dished" and the 10v are not.
I am just not sure if there will be clearance to make it work.
i am aware that people put a 7A head on a NG/NF block, and that is why I think
it will work, but I just want to double check.
what do you guys think?
I am asking this because I will definitely not have enough time to do a full
turbo conversion before I go back to school, but a friend of mine has a brand
new eurospec 10v 2.6L stroker block. That rang some bells and I thought it
would be nice to do a little displacement bump for now.
If this can work, what else should I look at getting? I thought about bigger
injectors, lighter pulleys, maybe cams? but i do not want to spend too much on
NA power because in a couple months when I have a break from school I will do
my turbo.
Please let me know
Thankss!!
