Autozone battery cable recalls

You're lucky that's all that happened in your case. One of the long term 
airport park-n-ride places here let the battery go dead in one of our 
vehicles, and when they went to jump it they reversed the cables by 
mistake, and damaged the alternator. Of course they refused to take 
blame and pay for it, so we were stuck with it.
