V6 to I5 conversion

V6 (2.8l) is quite good on reliability. The 12V motors, frankly, dont
have the power to hurt themselves. I have one.
265k km is only 160k miles.
As with any audi its all dependent on maint.
I'd be much more concerned with all the rubber bits; ball joints; tie
rod ends; etc. etc.
