V6 to I5 conversion

Duncan,

This conversion has been done in the past, I've personally seen a 20V 5-cyl
with a K27, probably around 400hp.

In addition, the 5-cyl is the same bellhousing pattern. You do have to cut
and remount (weld) the motor mounts, as they are across from each other on
the "V's" and higher/lower on the inline 4's and 5's. As Audi put a 5-cyl in
that chassis, the rest is pretty much sourced from a 5-cyl car. Oh, you will
have to add the mounting points for the radiator as well. It is in the front
center on the "V" and drivers side on the I-5. I personally like the V-6
90Q's, as anything around 8-9 sec to 60 is good enough for my daily driver.
But, to each their own. The V-6's are fairly reliable, though.
