Wiper motor surgery, 91 200!

Gents,

Just took apart a spare wiper muter assy to see if I could figure out the
park mechanism. (tired of bumping the switch!) This one from the 90 200,
(replaced, but need one on my 20V) didn't/don't park correctly. I can get a
used one for $40, but figured it wouldn't hurt to dissect the spare one
before I junk it.

Only thing I can figure is that the contacts (tensioned against metal plate)
lost tension, bent them to provide better contact/tension. The metal plate
has a piece of plastic on one portion, thinking this breaks continuity and
parks the wipers.

Will try it tomorrow, but wanted to see what the masses thought.

Ideas?
