4kq acceleration issue

OK, wow. Open ended issues.
You need to start with the basics. Since you dont know when the plugs,
rotor, cap, etc were last done,
inspect them. Better yet, replace them. But that's a money issue.
Many of your problems - cold start, cold idle, dieseling all suggest
mixture problems.
But that could be from LOTS of things.
- cold start ("5th") injector
- mixture control adjustment
- o2 sensor (i'm suspicious here ...)
- vacuum leak
It seems to me that the first thingh you need is facts. Measurements.
Too bad its pre-OBD or I;d have you go for codes. But your next best
thing would be emissions readout.
