Need ideas Removing crank and Cam seals without Audi tool

Just go to your local auto parts store and get a generic seal puller.  
It is no more than a small steel bar with a hook on the end.  You just 
carefully stick it in the seal along the sealing edge, turn it 90 
degrees and pull it out.  I don't like putting against the crank/cam 
surface so I use a small screw driver to carefully poke a hole in the 
seal and use that hole as access for the puller.  If you have one of 
those pick sets from Snap-On (I think Craftsman has them now too), you 
can use those to pull them out sometimes.
