bummer. so being a dunce i managed to loose 3 of the 4 of the hubcentric
adapters for my mille miglia wheels. called tire rack to order a new set and
they're NLA as MM has pulled out of north america. of course they did, right
BEFORE i need hub adapters.
fargin bastages..
anywhoo i'm wondering if anyone might have a bright idea as to where / how
to get a set made? can a machinist make them? i have the inner + outer
diameters, i assume the hub radius is standard [or discernable from the 1
ring i have]. anyone have a set lyin around?
im also thinking i might just tape the hub, fill the space with jb weld and
make a permanent adapter on the wheel. is that a bad idea [other than they'd
only ever work on an audi]. is there anything i can use that will get jb
weld to release well if i use the wheels as a mold?
thanks guys
jim
