Haven't BTDT personally but I saw it used in copious amounts by a couple of Lotus drivers at an autocross I participated in last week. The rear fenders of the Elise stick out a bit and the entire quarter panel from the rear edge of the door back to and including the fender lip were covered in blue masking tape. I'm pretty sure that the 3M stuff even says right on the label that it's guaranteed to remove cleanly for a certain number of days.
