Racers Tape

Seen it on mostly Lotus'. Since I'd assume that you'd remove the tape
well within the 2 week maximum suggested by Scotch for their painter's
tape, I'd assume you can safely use it without paint damage.

FWIW, I NEVER had a permanent cone mark on my A2 US built
GTi, which saw 10 full seasons of Autocross. The Saabaru, OTOH,
has two marks that look, at minimum, will take a machine buffer to
get out. But somehow, I really can't be bothered with the tape, AND
I don't take cones nearly as often as I did back when I got started.
