euro light wiring diagnosis help?

Just a quick rant, when a fuse is blown, the fix is *never* to replace 
it.  The fix is first to find out why it blew and repair the fault, then 
replace the fuse.

Sometimes enough current to blow the second fuse (or third, or 
fourth...) is enough to really wreak havoc on whatever wiring or device 
is carrying the shorted load.
