cooling system gunk

My 91 20V overflowed a bit the other day while just idling. It seemed all
> rusty. I added some orange coolant. Was this a mistake?


hm.. yea rusty coolant and orange coolant are no bueno.  do your car a favor
and  spend saturday am repenting and flush it out. easy enuff to do.. if a
little messy. dont forget to keep the heater on high to flush the core as
well. a few cycles of distilled should get you back to normal.

I did have the water pump changed last summer by some bozos who couldn't
> reset the timing correctly.Maybe they added the wrong coolant.


that makes me nervous for you - people changing yout tbelt that couldnt time
the car correcty.
