So is there a verdict on rebuilding hydraulic hoses?

As "the Bearded one says" the experience was painless and cheap however
he is utterly wrong when he states that the system is now leak free.
why does he think that we have a spare hydraulic pump on his workbench?
does he think that it's just there as an excuse to hide in his basement
and drink beer?

I THINK NOT............

oh hang on a minute, it was wasn't it?

ooops!
sorry 'bout that.

So to correct Monsieur Richard:

the hydraulic pipes that i/we had remanufactured are 12 months old,
quiet and leak free.
However I have Pentosin p1ssing out of everywhere else including the
servo, pump, rack
and even the join between the solid and rubber part of the low pressure
hose from the brake servo to the reservoir.
one might suggest that the replacement hoses have not really been tested
to full pressure......
;-)

I will be going back to the shop to get the rest of the hoses
remanufactured v.soon.
Incidentaly, these were the guys that sold me the bits to replace the
turbo to intercooler silencer thing on the MCII
