Advice solicited on dealing with VW

This is an '07- revised EPA numbers are getting pretty accurate to
real-world numbers.

There's no reason why a GTI can't get 28-30mpg highway driving. The numbers
that Steve is posting is about what I get with the STi- that's with much
sticker, high rolling resistance tires than his, AWD drivetrain frictional
losses, shorter gearing and 100hp more.

The A4 2.0q gets better gas mileage than what Steve is experiencing and
that's with quattro drivetrain losses.
