I have logged every ounce of gas I have put in my 2003 WRX (same as a SAAB 92?) and I have gotten 23.287 mpg over 80,000 miles.

Steve,

Sounds anecdotal, much like the www.saab92x.com website. Milage figures
all over the map. Hard to determine what they really mean. All I know is
that a majority of the 9-2X Aero members seem to get better fuel economy
than me, all while driving harder than me. Somehow, the survey numbers seem
inconclusive due to operator error and inconsistencies.

Essentially, with numbers that scattered, I don't think you're going to be
able to build a sufficient case to convince VAG of anything. Statistically,
you don't really have a case. But I'd agree, you're
#'s seem on the low side. I identify with them. Unfortunately, considering
super is now $3.05/gal. Too bad I get the same results with the UrS. Either
way I'm screwed.
