Oil pressure switch

Found it - at the rear of the oil filter.  I cleaned it and still get a 
low pressure warning after about 10 minutes.  When I shut it off and 
restart the warning light goes out for another 10 minutes or so.  It 
doesn't seem to be related to acceleration as I initially thought. 
Anyone have thoughts on this?  Do these pressure switches tend to fail?

99 A6QA fresh out of hibernation


|Where's the oil pressure switch on a '99 A6QA 2.8L?  I'm getting an
|intermittent oil pressure warning on hard acceleration,  I'm thinking
|flaky electrical connection..  Oil level is fine, fresh new M1,  9 |miles
|on the car since TB, WP, etc.  Just got it registered this morning.

|BTW - ABS & brake lights went off the first time I used the brakes.
|Probably just rust scale near the sensors & it blew out.
