And now for the answer you don't want... It will peal again. The clear
coat has separated from the base coat for a reason, and will continue
to do so until it is stripped to bare metal and repainted. You'll slow
it down some by touching up the affected area as others have told you,
but it will be back. I am about to strip and shoot the hood because of
this.
