AC running not so cold

Kent,
System can be converted to r134 fairly easily. Ideally the accumulator
should be replaced, but it's worth a shot to evacuate (and check to ensure
it holds vacuum) and recharge.
Way back when I converted (2) Audis someone had sent me the factory pdf that
went through the process. But, long enough ago that I have no clue where it
is! In my case I also changed the orifice valve with a generic GM
replacement from local FLAPS.
I would suggest evacuating, pulling a vacuum (min 29") to get rid of
moisture, adding ac oil (forget which one!) and recharging. Use a can of the
stuff that has dye in it so you can see any minute leaks! You'll have to
jump the elec connection on the accumulator sensor (low press) to get the
compressor to run until pressure in system
You'll also have to get the r134 adapters for the high and low side prior to
any work being done.
Seals, hoses, compressor will be okay with the change over.
Hopefully someone will provide the appropriate instructions I can't find!
