Ed,

Thank you for the reply at such a late hour.

The car was serviced at the same mechanic who's been working on out
cars for the past 8 yrs or so, it is doubtful that the wrong fluid was
used. If it locked down on that woman on her way home, it doesn't seem
to make sense as I've been able to make it aproximately 2000 miles so
far.

Car had been travelling on I-80 and we had exited to a gas station
where the e brake was used.over heating was probably not an issue as
the breaks were not used much?

Ebrake was left engaged for aproximately 10 feet of travel before it
was disengaged. note that the ebrake was not pulled even halfway. at
this point car exhibited
what turned out to strand us on the hwy, brakes momentarily locked up
and car almost stalled.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to determine a problem at this time
because the vehicle then show no further issues until a rubbing noise
was noticed upon entering the hwy.

I stopped and manually released the rear calipers thinking that the e
brake might be stuck. car then rolled freely until it entered its
current all 4 wheels locked state.

Quickly attempting to bleed the system at the master didn't release
the breaks? I'll have to look closer in th AM.

This is frustrating as many new part were just installed including
front axles, lf and rf cv and brake master...

thanks again for the help.
