Bad valve guides for the oil problem.  New seals might help, but guides will 
fix it.  Toss the platinum plugs.  Unless they're the DP0s, they're the 
cheapest, most heavily advertised plugs in the Bosch catalog of spark plugs, 
and they're cr*p.  They DON'T work in VAG cars.  Or Porsches, for that 
matter.  Just replace the wastegate diaphragm, and forget the MFTS .  It not 
involved with engine management.  Check the grounds for the FI, especially 
the ones on the manifold.  John
