Well you could cut slits and bend the forward edge down making a vent
sucking air out and draining water ;-)
OR you could simply use some RTV silicon or caulking to seal up the window.
To make it look nice you could then remove the chrome bit from the OE trim
and epoxy it in place hiding the RTV.
