88 5KTQ this week my idle speed has gone up

Did you verify the bad switch by shorting the idle switch contacts in 
the harness connector which go to the computer?
Did the idle drop per spec?  Hmmmmmmm?

There is a remote possibility of a wiring break in the harness 
connector or in the harness.
It's an easy enough test to do - test lead with small alligator clips 
. .or just a paper clip will do.

You always have to account for Murphy's Law.

My Idle switch is bad I checked it with an ohm meter and the full 
throttle
switch closes at 2/3 open but the Idle switch never closes. How do I 
get it out?
I removed the 2 bolts but that only seams to be the adjustment.
