I've never dealt with Haggerty, but have done the same thing with my
regular insurance company. Low mileage, rare and sought after vehicles
can usually be insured through your existing company for close to
replacement value with a little back and forth and some documentation.
Better to do it BEFORE something happens, than after.
I think you're right about the "daily drivers" though, it is marketed as
collectors insurance.
