He is probbly refering to the 1.8T's in the FWD Jetta/Golf/New Beetle.
They have a complete replacement kit available for less than the DM
flywheel, and they do fais fairly frequently in those cars (probably
due to abuse). Howe4ver, depending on your model, there may or may not
be a replacement for your application.
