Well yes of course unless someone took it....
I called within 60 minutes and drove back as
soon as I had realized my mistake
(never mind it was about 20 miles across
out "metro area"  .... )

She told me on the phone she had just
been out there to get trash containers
and saw nothing by the pumps.

I still went back and looked all over, the ground,
crevices between pumps, etc., etc.

So between gasoline and the cap, cost was .....   ;-)
