Another Audi feature

Well, I guess I am missing the point here.

If I unlock the doors of my car with the remote, get in, start it up, and move the car 15 feet, assuming the doors lock (which they
only do when you hit 15 mph), when I then get out of the car, the driver's door unlocks. I then close the door, car running. The door
will not just automatically re-lock itself. I have done the same thing when cleaning snow off my driveway. Clear behind my car, start
it, move it to the street, leaving it running to warm up, go back to shoveling, come back, open the door, get in. No problem. Maybe
it only works that way with my car. The other thing is, if you have to be going 15 mph for it to autolock, well, would the OP really have
been going that fast in his snow-covered driveway?

As far as the timed re-lock, I again don't see what's wrong with that, although our Honda Odyssey - which has the same feature - has
a VERY short timeframe. About the amount of time it takes me to walk from my study - where I have pushed the unlock button - out
the front door, down the walk and to the car - about 15 seconds! The Audi is more like a minute.

Insert Dan's foot for not reading. =)

I'd still like to understand how this feature caused the driver's door to lock while the car was standing still.
