What is the issue?  What are the fault codes?  It could be something as
simple as a botched brake job and air in the pump (module).

The electronics are part of the ABS pump ("module?") and probably can be
rebuilt, but the car would be down.

First, is the diagnosis correct (i.e. was the flow chart followed?).

After that.... no you can't readily bypass the ABS.  It's integrated into
the ECU for ESP/EDL/ASR functionality as well as ABS.  You'd be giving up
far too much safety.

Used would be a much better choice than bypass.  Remember, you need a scan
tool (VAG-COM) and pressure (or vacuum) bleeder to bleed an ABS module
fully.
