Wow, thanks for the input!  And for insulting everyone who was

I delete 90% of the on-topic posts because they don't relate to *my* 
cars or needs.  Deleting the occasional "off topic" (as defined by you?) 
post does not further contribute to wear and tear on that button.

I don't see how discussing remote alarm/locking systems is not on topic, 
and the issue of waving at other Audi drivers is kind of what this list 
*is*.

We have a long history of discussing other marques, as well, since the 
list has a large number of "car people" that we know and trust.

You forgot to say that the lurkers agree with you in p-mail, by the way.
