You heard wrong about this, way, way wrong.

There is nothing in common with I-5 Audis and I-5 Volvos, other than
the 5 cylinders.

The S60 and V70 have nothing to do with Audis at all- where did you get this?!?

The S60, V70, XC90 and S80 are based on the Volvo P2 platform- as are
the Ford Taurus, Taurus X and the Mercury Sable.

The only thing that I can think of that is even remotely similar to
what you heard is the Porsche engineering had a hand in the head
design of the I-6 engine in the S80 and XC90.
