Hi Guys,
I have not driven my '87 4kQ for a few years due to a clutch going out on
it. I just had a guy put in a new clutch and pressure plate in for me, but
now it appears that my center diff is stuck in the locked position. I tried
the vacuum switch and I can lock/unlock the rear, but the center "feels"
locked, although he indicator light is not on.
Basically, for the moment, I don't care about being able to lock it - I want
it unlocked so that I can drive the car. Where is the lock mechanism located
and how do I tackle this?
