I'm sorry you are so dissapointed in your replies, but I for one know of no
such drawings nor diagrams except electrical diagrams in the Bentley manual.
The vacuum problem can be figured out exceptionaly easily - pull both hoses
off (on a 5000 they can be reached from above), stowe them where you can
access the ends without much trouble (maybe use a fitting and some spare
hose to extend them if needed), start the engine, then flip the diff-lock
switch on and feel which hose has vacuum. Stick that hose on the
forward-most nipple and the other hose on the rear-ward nipple. Voila.
Your wiring problem is a bit harder but not much. Acess is mostly limited to
from the bottom. I can't help with wire colors or details because the
manuals I cared to invest in are 100+ miles away right now. Your trans wire
harness is small - one round 4 pin connector at the top of the bellhousing
that connects it to the car side harness. There are only 4 wires, 2 for
reverse light, 2 for diff-lock light (speedo is separate). The simple fact
is that two wires will reach to the diff-lock light switch (rear housing of
trans facing rear of car IIRC) and two won't. The two that won't reach are
the reverse light wires, and I *THINK* that switch is about 6 inches from
the front of the trans on the passenger side (maybe on top), but I can't
recall for sure. It doesn't matter how you put the wires on each
sensor/switch as its only completing a circuit.
Here are some photos that may help you with the geography of the top of the
trans:

http://jcforbes.com/jcfpics/engineinstall/P4290038?full=1 - This may be
best, you can see diff lock light switch near rear of trans actually facing
towards passenger side with red wire connectors on it

Its hard to see in the pictures, but I think the reverse switch may be right
above the diff-lock solenoid. Actually I'm fairly sure thats where it is.
