My point was that in standing water, I figured that tread pattern would've
mattered much more than compound. Guess not, at least at speeds below 50
MPH, which is what speeds I reached the next day on essentially the same
course in reverse, obviously this was Auto-X not HPDE.
Somehow, at an HPDE on an open road track I don't think the DOT-R's would've
handled they standing water so well.
