86 coupe failed emissions

My coupe failed the emissions test last week. The CO reading was at 225 when it should have been about half that. I have done a few things to hopefully help, changed the O2 sensor, plugs and wires are good, new air filter, oil & filter, a bottle of RXP in the fuel tank. I found a section in the Bentley Manual that shows a CO adjustment screw on the fuel meter unit. Of course, without a computer to monitor and measure my emissions, that adjustment is of little use to me in the garage. The tech at the inspection shop will probably let me adjust that screw during the test. Does anyone think this adjustment will solve all my problems? Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mark
