Sunroof Cable Replacement

First of all greetings to all those still on the list that may remember me. been aa while since i was on the list. hope you all doing fine.

I have a sunroof in my 80q 2.6 avant that needs it's cables replacing, i have the parts en route to me but haven't a clue how to get at them. The roof will tilt but not slide at the moment. The motor works fine though.
