Is this a temp sensor? - nope it's a radiator/aux fan switch

Hey folks on the quatto list. Cody, especially, this might be one that could
benefit from your expertise.

I posted my original question to the S Car list and am getting closer to
getting my avant back on the road, but am trying to figure this out:

Thanks to Matt twenty V and Mark, I've now established what the part is.
Radiator/Auxillary Fan Switches come in two temp ranges. FWIW, mine is
95-102 C versus 85-93 C.

However, to get my car back on the road, I'm going to have to attach spade
connectors to the existing wire to connect to the switch, and then keep my
eyes open for the correct connector off of a car that's being parted. I'm
still looking for the order in which to connect these wires, as described,
below.

Above are shown the wires that go to the switch from the car. The plastic
connection that they all ran through to plug into the switch got destroyed.

    l____ __ l
            l__l l_____l

This is what the back of the switch where the wires from the car plug in
looks like. There is obviously a right and left side, meaning the wires have
to be connected to the correct prongs (which sit three in a row, all the
same size across the middle of the outline of the switch, above)

Thanks!
